During this workshop we will discuss elements of the security deposit and claim process that impacts Property Managers.

It is imperative that real estate licensees follow Florida statutes regarding security deposits. Avoid pitfalls by setting up a process and checklist to ensure that you are complying when returning or making a claim against a security deposit. The Presenter will provide suggestions to avoid or resolve disputes over a security deposit claim. The Presenter will discuss the records they maintain for the security deposit disposition. Important industry updates will be discussed while providing updated forms for the Property Manager to use. This is a condensed version of a 3-hour course. Attendees will receive the complete course binder. Does your company offer full-service management, lease-only, or other managerial services to residential property owners? If so, you will probably have a security deposit dispute at some point. Let’s know how to handle it before it occurs.
